Long Whatton

This is a village with a long main street stretching for about a mile. Whatton Hall was built in 1802, burnt down and restored in 1876. In it’s grounds are summer houses including one of tree bark with fluted Doric columns. The Parish Church retains its Norman tower and contains a drum-shaped Norman font and an Elizabethan pulpit.
