Ashby Canal near Conkers and Moira Furnace

Sence Valley Country Park

A 60 hectacre former open- cast coal site, which has been transformed with extensive tree planting and creation of 3 lakes interlinked with a series of stone-surfaced paths, some of which have steeep slopes.
