Ashby Tourist Information Centre Staff won the Gold Award for Tourist Information Services at the 2010 East Midlands Enjoy England Excellence Awards

                                               

We celebrated our 21st Birthday here at the Tourist Information Centre in April 2010, that equates to 21 years of knowledge on places to visit, events and accomodation in the area. North West Leicestershire has developed from a mainly coal mining area, to a holiday and short break destination, many of the mines are now tourist attractions such as Snibston,Conkers and the beautiful Sence Valley.
